We stayed at Hotel Lo Mustang recently for one of our trekking holidays. What a relief it was amidst the bustling and hustling of busy Kathmandu. The services is fantastic, very personalised from our arrival until departure. The food at the restaurant was sumptuous. Recently renovated the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms and provided toiletries were a god send after a day of hiking. Tastefully decorated and well located in the tourist district. A Truly Peaceful and Homely Stay at Lo Mustang My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Lo Mustang on two separate occasions within the same month. We could have chosen another hotel for our second visit, but the warm and friendly atmosphere at Lo Mustang made us want to return. The food served was excellent, with options that satisfied our tastes.

I had the most wonderful experience at Lo Mustang in November 2024. I came to Nepal for a wedding and Anisha at the front desk went above and beyond. Customer service was 10/10. I got recommendations for tailoring, jewelry, dry cleaning, and local dresses with transportation. The hotel’s warm hospitality truly made my trip unforgettable.

It was my first time in Nepal, booked Lo Mustang Hotel where I was met by (Loumus) plus a super friendly front desk staff from the parking lot, front door to the room.

I’ve been visiting Nepal for the past 12 years and this is the first time I am staying at Hotel Mustang. The warm and friendly staff are always at hand to assist and attend to my needs. Feedback about noise from nearby pub at 3a.m. was taken seriously by hotel management and room was changed. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bed is as comfy as my own bed at home.

Location is perfect, very close to everything. Rooms are clean, comfortable pillows and mattress, fridge and tea/coffee maker. Bathroom is small. Most rooms face narrow yards with no views. Staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast selection is decent, with a mix of local and continental options.

Staff is attentive and helpful. Room is clean and spacious. We enjoy our stay here. The mattress is just the flexibility i need. I had three -night good sleeps which is awesome.

Perfect location and service, and food is pretty nice. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, we had a good time during the stay!

This is a lovely hotel conveniently located in the heart of Thamel. The staff is so nice and the service is great. The rooms are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. In addition to the breakfasts with omelet station and other amenities, we had a couple of other meals in the hotel and were very pleased with the food and service (wonderful salad and crispy tofu that I want to learn how to make). I got services at the spa (more than once!) and really enjoyed my massage treatments.

I’ve been visiting Nepal for the past 12 years and this is the first time I am staying at Hotel Mustang. The warm and friendly staff are always at hand to assist and attend to my needs. Feedback about noise from nearby pub at 3a.m. was taken seriously by hotel management and room was changed. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bed is as comfy as my own bed at home. The location is so central, it is easy to get to my favourite places such as Smoothie King, O’Cha Thai Street Food & Himalayan Java in 5 to 10mins of walking. After a hard climb in the mountains, staying here is like returning home. I would return to stay here again the next time.

Very good location of the hotel. Friendly staff and hotel manager Deepika provide kindly help. Tourist can easily go to the bank which is just cross the street to get money exchange with good rate. Good free WIFI in hotel. Overall, it’s good place to stay to explore Kathmandu.

I’m on a Soul Journey and this was the hotel selected for our pre and post trip. It’s near the shopping and all the foodie. People are friendly and rooms are clean. Service is excellent. The rooms come with a theme too.

The Lo Mustang was the third hotel we tried in Kathmandu. We finally got it right. We experienced bloated ratings at other hotels, including one that was bordering ‘seedy’ but rated super-high on most reseller sites, and one that was similarly highly rated, but was only decent in a threadbare, somewhat mildewy, broken-lights and no-hot-water kind of way. We were sick, we were tired, and we needed a safe and comfortable space to recover.

The reception staff were consistently helpful with all our needs, making our stay even more comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend Lo Mustang to anyone without hesitation. It truly feels like a home away from home.

I booked 2 nights before and after my trek to EBC at Lo Mustang in August 2024 and it was the perfect hangout in Kathmandu. Although in the heart of busy Thamel, it is a haven of peace and a secluded space to rest, enjoy a variety of local and international dishes, rest by the pool or even have a gym cardio session. From carpark to pool side on the 6th floor, you will be warmly welcomed and discreetly pampered. The rooms are highly comfortable and modern, pristine and cleverly furnished. I would recommend this hotel, close to the bazars and Garden of Dreams, to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

My recent stay at Hotel Lo Mustang was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning architecture and serene ambiance. The entire property exudes elegance and tranquility, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Food,stay everything was very good Staff in front office were exceptional, especially Sunil & Anisha Guy who helped me with luggage Mr. Suman was professional and very helpful. The location is also quite nice as it is located in thamel and nearby touristic area are easy to get to. Surely visiting this hotel again.

An unique boutique that is located in the heart of Kathmandu. Very nice staff and fluent in English that helped me with luggage and information regerading the city. Clean and nice furnished rooms and the pool would be the highlight for a hot day!

The hotel reception Was very good Anisha and sunil were the best I had the best breakfast in Kathmandu Overall I highly recommend this hotel Room size was appropriate but they were super clean Food was tasty They have have a good cloak room where you can store all your luggage especially for expedition guys

Hotel Staff was very accommodating and hotel is very clean, we stayed before going to annapurna cuircit trek, we left some of our luggage with them no hassle and it was delivered in our room when we checked in again after the trek, the buffet breakfast offers nice food and ambiance as well on the rooftop

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lo Mustang. Conveniently located in Thamel, where we stayed for several days both before and after a trek. Nice rooms, beautiful rooftop bar, and an amazingly friendly and helpful staff, especially Anis, who helped arrange everything from day tours to airport rides to a surprise birthday cake. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Kathmandu.

This new hotel has made their place feel quiet and comfortable while being in the heart of Thamel. All the decorations are hand painted and are a great touch. The French toast was amazing with the rest of the breakfast being ok. Rooms are comfortable Construction is currently ongoing for a pool/gym area to be completed later in 2024. The rooftop bar/restaurant is a nice place to hang in the evening with comfortable seating. The service was amazing with the receptionists being so friendly and helpful during our stay. Would recommend this place for people who are looking to sightsee and explore while having a comfortable place to retreat to when the evening is done.

The room is very comfortable, the surrounding environment is lively and convenient ~ every waiter is friendly and the breakfast is delicious, especially the half-boiled eggs ~ the hot water is hot enough and the heater is warm enough! Great experience, will come again next time!

I went there last weekend and stayed over for a couple of nights with my family. Our stay was excellent. The staffs gives you the highest level of hospitality in all possible ways. You get salute from the guards as & when you enter the hotel premises. At the entrance you get a warm welcome from the from office staffs. The staffs are highly trained to deliver the best of customer service. They are very polite, helpful all the time. The FnB staffs are ready on the foot of what ever you ask for from there menu…

My house in Kathmandu. Thamel is close to everything and superbly located. Their rooms are wonderful and very comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. Room service is great. The breakfast is diverse and delicious. It”s a secure hotel.

New hotel in heart of Thamel. Very unique in its character, well maintained. Rooms are pretty comfortable. Room No: 102 is excellent. Rooftop restaurant is must to visit. Moderate breakfast and lots of smile around the hotels team. Worth place to stay in comfort and secured.

Outstanding Hotel right in the middle of Thamel. Great service and beautifully appointed, this is the place to stay if you want to stay in a first class hotel in Kathmandu. Food was exceptional. We stayed there twice and both times we had spacious, modern and extremely clean rooms with beautiful views to the Monkey Temple.

You must stay here when you’re in Kathmandu! The location is amazing, it’s in the centre of the tourist district but it’s peaceful, an oasis in the busy city.

Everything was great – staff was very friendly, flexible, and accommodating. Staff helped arrange a driver to take me to different sites on a tight schedule; the hotel was walkable or a short taxi away from attractions, and staff had good recommendations for the nearby area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The on-site amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a cozy lounge, added to the overall experience.

The hotel is excellent, cant fault at all. Clean,tidy, safe . staff can’t do enough for you. My rating is 20 out of 10. The management DIPIKA especially helpful, courteous, knowledgeable. Just a wonderful soul. Smiling all the time. The front desk staff again excellent if there was a issue it gets sorted like getting a taxi. The restaurant staff again cant do enough. The bar staff Nabin and Roshan again wonderful. The Managing Director greeted us every day. Had dinner with the director and Dipika. Where in the world one gets this treatment Just can say enough

This is my second stay in this wonderful hotel in historical center of Katamandu.Great value for the price ! large spotless room had very comfortable bed and had breathtaking views of the mountains.The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. I especially loved the delicious breakfast buffet. A special thanks to the hotel manager Deepika Shrestha who demonstrate especiall leadership and professionalism throughout my stay.The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions, but very quiet! I will definitely be back and highly recommend this gem as the one of the best place to stay in Katamandu!

Deepika, front desk manager, was fantastic always making sure my needs were being met and that my stay was comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location with great amenities. I initially chose this spot because of the beautiful traditional decor. It was beautiful in person with murals on each floor. Breakfast is fantastic with a roof top view. I booked a second time on my way back home because it was so great. I traveled solo and left with new friends.

I received almost an immediate response via email for my airport transfer request while I was in Singapore. I was greeted by a patient driver upon arrival in Kathmandu. An excellent stay with good vegetarian food, served by friendly staff going the extra mile for every request that I had.

A long standing Nepali friend of mine recommended that I stayed at the Lo Mustang Hotel and I was not disappointed, in fact I was highly impressed! I stayed at Lo Mustang for 9 days and soon felt a part of the family. This was my 7th visit to Nepal in 32 years and I was very impressed by the cultural theme of the hotel where the corridors and even the rooms are adorned with paintings which reflect the heritage of the Mustang area. The rooms were clean and tody and verything worked as it should. The food provided was good also. I loved the tranquility of the swiming pool are and the terrace bar/cafe.

Good hotel, good location , to Tamel, beautiful design, nice staff – any requests were decided very quickly, we stayed 4 days, after trekking, on breakfast were mustang apples, delicious – remembered about our perfect trekking. It was good here

Loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean and modern. The roof top is a hidden gem, perfect getaway from busy streets. The restaurant was good, the staff are very friendly. Had Spa treatments done, which was very good. Didn’t use swimming pool but it looked very nice. I was very well looked after during my stay, special thanks to Deepika! From the time we entered the gates of the hotel, the service was excellent. From the security guards’ assistance and greetings going in and out to the reception at the front desk. Deepika and the team of colleagues worked together to assist me and other co-workers with such care and hospitality that went above and beyond our expectations. Even other friends who stayed elsewhere but came by to visit us felt welcomed and appreciated. The room was very clean, well furnished, airy, and had enough light with an open view of the city below. The bed was very comfortable and the room facilities were convenient for the stay. I had an enjoyable breakfast in the morning and felt satisfied with the variety that was offered. Although I didn’t stay long, my experience in Nepal was enriched by this final stay at Hotel Lo Mustang. The location of the hotel was convenient for going out and about in the city and accessible to local shops and tourist activities. Although secluded in a back road it was accessible through an alley which made it a good hidden treasure, but one where you felt safe and taken care of. I want to thank the hotel staff at Hotel Lo Mustang for being such welcoming and accommodating hosts! One thing I would recommend would be a free complimentary ride to the airport at the end of one’s stay, which would be the icing on the cake!

The Hotel Lo Mustang was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning buffet was amazing with so many yummy choices . The lunch and dinner were also very good. I stayed eight days and truly enjoyed my stay there. I would stay there again

This is a very comfortable, convenient hotel located in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu’s tourist district. Service was superior. The buffet breakfast offered a range of excellent options. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The spa and rooftop bar are extra amenities. We were very satisfied with our 10 day stay.

Hotel Lo Mustang is located in a busy locality of Thamel. We stayed for four days and the stay was very pleasant. Accommodation was very decent and good quality food was served in the restaurant on the 5th floor. Indian vegetarian dishes are available. More than all, staff working in the hotel were very courteous and highly helpful. Special thanks to the Manager Deepika madam and her supporting staff for their excellent job. Highly recommend to families looking for decent accommodation and good food in Kathmandu.

I experienced very good environment with friendly staff and very relaxing spot to unwind in the heart of the city. Highly recommended to stay despite being located in the hustle bustle of the city, the environment here in the hotel is calm and refreshing.

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent and very helpful staff. We had a problem with our fridge and they came and change immediately without any hesitation. Kitchen staff were very helpful. Receptionist was great. If I could I would rate five star to this hotel. I will definitely stay here again.
